Data mining refers to the process of discovering patterns, trends, and meaningful insights within large datasets. It involves the use of various techniques and technologies to analyze and extract valuable information from raw data, unveiling hidden relationships and patterns that may not be immediately apparent. An example could be looking at stock market trends to see if profitable strategies can be developed! Mining is essentially looking for something of value, hence data mining 🙂
