Interdependence refers to the mutual reliance and connection between different parts or components within a system. In a business context, it often relates to the inter-connectedness of various functions, departments, or stakeholders where the actions of one part impact, or are impacted by, the actions of another. An example could be an uptick in sales having a knock on effect with not enough stock to sell, which leads to frustrated customers! It is almost like a spiders web being pulled at one corner. The effect is felt throughout the web!
