Similar to the line of best fit, the regression line of best fit is the line that best represents the relationship between variables in linear regression analysis. It is the line that minimizes the sum of the squared differences between the observed and predicted values.
Example: In linear regression analysis, the regression line of best fit would be the line that best predicts the dependent variable (e.g., sales) based on the independent variable (e.g., advertising spending).
